Dr. Xiaowei Wang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Asia Pacific Science and Technology Association and Founder of AVANTSI TECHNOLOGIES, Visits Hanoi to Explore Photovoltaic and Integrated Circuit Industries.

From March 3 to March 5, 2026, Dr. Xiaowei Wang, Deputy Secretary-General of the APSTA, and Founder of AVANTSI TECHNOLOGIES, led a delegation to Hanoi, Vietnam to conduct an industry research visit focused on the development of the photovoltaic and integrated circuit equipment sectors.
The visit aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the local industrial ecosystem while strengthening exchanges with regional industry partners and overseas Chinese entrepreneurs.
2026年3月3日至5日，亚太科学技术协会秘书、新加坡AVANTSI TECHNOLOGIES创始人、王小伟博士率团队赴越南河内开展产业考察，重点调研当地光伏产业与集成电路相关装备制造的发展情况，并与当地华人企业家及产业伙伴进行了深入交流。
During the three-day visit, the delegation toured several industrial parks and manufacturing facilities in and around Hanoi, gaining first-hand insights into industrial park planning, manufacturing capabilities, and the supporting ecosystem for advanced manufacturing industries in Vietnam.
The delegation also visited production workshops of companies engaged in new energy equipment and semiconductor-related manufacturing equipment, where detailed discussions were held regarding automation technologies, production management systems, and research and development activities.
在为期三天的行程中，考察团先后走访了位于河内周边工业园区的相关企业与生产设施，实地了解当地产业园区规划、制造能力及产业配套环境。考察期间，团队参观了多家从事新能源设备和半导体相关设备制造的企业生产车间，详细了解企业在自动化设备、生产管理及技术研发方面的布局与进展。
In addition to site visits, the delegation held meetings with local Chinese entrepreneurs and industry representatives to exchange views on the evolving industrial supply chain landscape in Southeast Asia, Vietnam’s investment environment for manufacturing, and potential cooperation opportunities in photovoltaic and semiconductor equipment industries.
Participants agreed that, as the global new energy and semiconductor industries continue to expand, Southeast Asia is increasingly becoming a vital component of the international technology supply chain. The region presents promising opportunities for collaboration in technology development, equipment manufacturing, and industrial services.
考察过程中，代表团还与当地华人企业家进行了座谈交流，就东南亚产业链发展趋势、越南制造业的投资环境以及光伏与集成电路装备领域的合作机会进行了深入探讨。双方一致认为，随着全球新能源产业与半导体产业的持续发展，东南亚地区正逐渐成为国际产业链的重要组成部分，未来在技术合作、设备制造及产业服务方面具有广阔的合作空间。
The Asia Pacific Science and Technology Association noted that the visit represents an important step toward strengthening exchanges and cooperation among technology industries across the Asia-Pacific region.
By leveraging its platform role, the association will continue to facilitate resource sharing in scientific and technological innovation, while promoting deeper collaboration among Asia-Pacific technology enterprises in industrial development, research and development, and international partnerships.
亚太科学技术协会表示，此次考察有助于进一步加强亚太地区科技产业之间的交流与合作，推动新能源与半导体产业在区域内的协同发展。未来，协会将继续发挥平台作用，促进科技创新资源共享，推动亚太地区科技企业在产业链、技术研发及国际合作方面取得更深入的合作成果。
