On November 20th, the “Multidimensional Evolution, Intelligent Empowerment” 2025 Black Sesame Intelligent Robot Platform Product Launch Conference was successfully held in Shanghai, officially launching the SesameX multidimensional intelligent computing platform for the robotics industry. This is the industry’s first dedicated platform for commercial robot deployment. After decades of evolution, intelligence is steadfastly moving from the digital world and cyberspace into the physical world. The next decade belongs to a “new era of robots.”
11月20日，“多维进化，智赋新生”2025年黑芝麻智能机器人平台产品发布会在上海成功举行，正式推出面向机器人产业的SesameX多维智能计算平台，这是业界首个机器人商业化专属部署平台。历经数十年演变，智能正在从数字世界、网络空间，坚定不移地走进现实物理世界，下一个十年属于“机器人新纪元”。
Dr. Xu Jin, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Science and Technology Association (APSTA), Head of Black Sesame Robotics Business, explained that SesameX’s system architecture consists of three layers:

- The bottom layer is the computing platform, composed of three self-developed modules: Kalos, Aura, and Liora, running Ubuntu, ROS2, and Black Sesame’s self-developed SesameX RTOS system. The SesameX Network serves as the platform’s “neural communication layer.”
- The second layer is the middleware layer, primarily composed of three modules: the SesameX scheduling engine, the SesameX toolchain, and the SesameX Runtime. This ensures stable, efficient, and conflict-free collaboration among the various intelligent units.
- The third layer is the atomic application layer, divided into task models and atomic models, transforming the robot from a “program executor” into a “skill learner.” The collaboration of these layers constructs a reliable and secure system.
- 最底层是计算平台，由自研的Kalos、Aura、Liora 三款模组组成，配套运行 Ubuntu，ROS2和黑芝麻智能自研的SesameX RTOS系统，SesameX Network 是整个平台的“神经通信层”；
- 第二层为中间件层，主要由SesameX调度引擎，SesameX工具链和SesameX Runtime三大模块组成，确保各个智能单元协同工作，稳定、高效、不冲突；
- 第三层是原子应用层，分为任务模型和原子模型，让机器人不再是一个“程序执行器”，而是一个“技能学习者”；各层协同，构建了可信可靠的安全保障。
Xu Jin emphasized that the SesameX platform has two most important concepts:
first, the most important thing for robot applications is safety;
second, future robots will no longer be “pre-programmed executors” but “intelligent life forms capable of self-growth,” and the SesameX architecture will make all of this possible.
徐劲强调，SesameX平台有两个最重要的理念，其一，机器人应用最重要的是安全；其二，未来的机器人不再是“预设好的程序执行者”，而是“能够自我成长的智能生命体”，SesameX 架构将让这一切成为可能。
On November 20th, at the “Multidimensional Evolution, Intelligent Empowerment” 2025 Black Sesame Intelligent Robot Platform Product Launch Conference, Black Sesame Technologies announced a formal strategic partnership with Huazhong Electric Power Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co., Ltd.
